Dakota Dewayne Novotny

Dakota Wayne Novotny, 30, resident of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, in Shawnee.

He was born on February 28,1993 in Oklahoma City, to Jerry Leflore and Donna Novotny.

Dakota grew up in Oklahoma in the Okemah and Henrietta areas and attended the 12th grade at Okay High School in Oklahoma City.

Dakota was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed playing and listening to music and being around his friends and family.

Dakota was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Novotny.         

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Avery Novotny of Oklahoma City; son, Aiden of Tulsa; brothers, Rocky Novotney of Shawnee, and Chris Allen of North Dakota; grandmother, Leta Novotny of Okmulgee; and other family and friends.

Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Acker of Sallateeska Baptist Church officiating, under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
