Crystal Todd Obituary

Crystal Arlene Todd, 82, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed from this life Wednesday, June 24, 2020 in Shawnee. 

She was born December 20, 1937 to Ralph and Vera (Griffin) Kimball in Parker, Arizona. 

Crystal grew up in Trousdale and lived many places as a child and teenager.  She graduated from Choctaw High School. She moved to Shawnee in 1993 and to Tecumseh in 2010 where she resided for 10 years. 

She married Jimmy Todd on September 7, 1956 in Midwest City, Oklahoma.  He preceded her in death on September 11, 2011. 

Crystal worked as a private duty home health caregiver from 1974 until 2007 retiring to take care of family. 

She was an active church member of Oakland Chapel Church in Shawnee.  

Crystal enjoyed going to garage sales, estates sales, crocheting, sewing and making clothes for all her grandchildren.  She enjoyed playing skip Bo, painting and was a talented artist. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Todd; daughter, Cathy Harris; grandson, Michael Roy; her parents, Ralph and Vera Kimball; siblings,  Agnes, Bud, Marjorie, Clyde, Andy, Aubrey, Marsha, Inez, Armistice, Ralph and Etta. 

Survivors include 4 daughters, Sandy Dodd and Dana of Choctaw, OK, Jennifer Grogan and Bill of Tecumseh, OK, Lynda Neal and James of Shawnee, OK, Ronda Farris and Jim of Lemington, ME; 1 son, James Todd and Mindee of Asher, OK; 22 grandchildren, Art, Brandon, Tiffany, Gillian, Marie, Chris, Carl, Cassie, Angel, Todd, Carolyn, Waylon, Calvin, Steven, Toby, Chase, Joshua, Jessica, Justin, Brianna, Trisha and James IV; 40 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mary Dedmon of Florida and Zella Elmore, of Prague, OK; brother, Isaac Kimball of Shawnee, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. 

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 28, 2020 and continue through service time.  Service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 29, 2020 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brandon Leslie, St. Louis Baptist Church, St. Louis, Oklahoma.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
