Reverend Charles “Chuck” Franklin Lincoln, age 93, of Meeker, OK passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 at his home.
He was born March 17, 1928 in Mannford, OK to James Leonard Lincoln and Marsha Ester (Carter) Lincoln.
He was raised, and attended school in Mannford, OK, he went to flight school in East Los Angeles, CA at Vail Flight School.
Charles married Martha Fern McWhirt on September 5, 1952 in Tulsa, OK.
He proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp.
Charles worked in the oilfield as a Master Mechanic and Minister for 40 years. He was a licensed minister with Assemblies of God for 10 years and a licensed minister with Church of God for 15 years. Charles pioneered churches wherever the oilfield and God sent him. He spent his entire life helping those in need, witnessing, and winning the lost for the Lord.
One of his favorite hobbies was flying aircraft with his commercial license.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Brenda Boudreaux; son, Michael Lincoln; grandson, Robbie Clark; granddaughter, Celina Clark; brothers, Bill Lincoln and Tom Lincoln; and sister, Trudy.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Martha; daughters, Debra Lynn and Billy Spinks of Newalla, OK, Sandra Joy and Don Clouse of Fate, TX, and Rebekah Ann and Cecil Gibbs of Spring, TX; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley and Beverly; and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Cooper Funeral Home. Service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 25, 2021 at Living Waters Pentecostal Church of God, Meeker, OK with Reverend Michael Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Star Valley Cemetery, Warwick, OK under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
