Carl Ray Annanders, age 76, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at his home.
He was born August 13, 1947 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to C. W. and Audrey Sybil (Hamlin) Annanders.
Carl was raised in Tecumseh and attended New Hope and Tecumseh schools.
He married Juanita Kay Fisk on October 19, 1967 in Lander, Wyoming.
Carl was a mechanic for Bob Townsend Ford. As a truck driver he worked for Cedar Creek Lumber, McCorkle Trucking, and later for himself. Most all of his life he was also a farmer.
He enjoyed farming, camping, working and tinkering on equipment, and especially picking on his grandkids and his wife.
Carl is preceded in death by his parents, his son Daniel Annanders, brother; Robert Annanders and sister; Dorothy Cruz.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Kay Annanders of the home; son, Carl W. Annanders and wife Shelly of Macomb; daughter, Tamie Annanders; grandchildren, Koleane Annanders of Tecumseh; Kason Annanders of Tecumseh; Audrey Annanders of St. Louis; Dakota Annanders and Madison Cline of St. Louis; and Shane Annanders of St. Louis; Snowdanne Annanders of Macomb; great-grandchildren, Isabella Key, and Ryder Key; his sister, Patricia Annanders of Earlsboro, brother, Mike Annanders of Tecumseh, brother, Charles Annanders of Tecumseh, and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Cooper Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 8, 2024 at Mars Hill Cemetery with Minister Danny Wells, East Main Church of Christ, Stratford, OK officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
