Bonnie Marie Miller, age 94, of Harrah, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026, in Harrah, Oklahoma.
Bonnie was born on April 22, 1931, in Vian Oklahoma. She met and married Virgil Robert Young and went on to be a pastor’s wife. She contributed to the church by teaching children about Jesus and being the pianist. Bonnie and Virgil went on to have five children, Larry Robert Young, Terry Lee Young, Charles Edward Young, Doris June Young, John Doyle Young and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She later married Lealon F. Miller and was married for 40 years.
She worked in many capacities throughout her life to make a living for her family and finally retired from Continental Baking Company.
She was extremely witty, always telling jokes and always bringing joy in other people’s lives.
She did not like to see anyone without something they needed, despite the circumstance. If it was in her power to supply someone with a need, she would do so.
Her greatest love were her children and grandchildren. She loved cooking for her family, and she made sure they never missed a meal. She looked forward to any get-to-gather she could whip up, so we could all enjoy the delicacies she would make. Her homemade pies looked like they came out of a magazine and tasted even better.
She was very talented and crafty. She made many masterpieces from wall hangings, toys, bedspreads, and afghans. If she made one mistake on an afghan, even though we wouldn’t see it, she would tear it out and start over. She would sometimes spend months making one particular thing, just to give it to someone, hoping to bring some joy.
Bonnie was proceeded in death by her husband of 22 years Virgil Robert Young, and her two sons, Larry Robert Young, and Terry Lee Young as well as her second husband Lealon F. Miller.
She had a relationship with Jesus Christ, and she would try and help her children by reminding them of scriptures pertaining to the particular situation they were in. She always said that God has the greatest love for us that no man can match, and don’t leave this earth without him.
