Billie Sue Graves

Billie Sue Graves, 80, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021 in Tecumseh. 

She was born July 6, 1941 to Jesse and Alma (Sandefur) Wise in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. 

Her family moved to California in 1949 and she graduated with the class of 1961 from Manteca High School in California.  She moved back to Tecumseh in 1973 where she has since lived. 

She married James Graves on November 7, 1985 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.  He preceded her in death on September 6, 2003. 

Billie enjoyed traveling all over the State, loved to color, enjoyed reading and listening to music. 

She was preceded in death by her husband; and her parents. 

Survivors include cousins, Dwight Wise and Kay of Amarillo, TX, Duane Wise of Manteca, CA, Mary Sandefur, Sara (Sandefur) Hasley, Patsy Moltz, Phyllis Drain and Mary Jane (Sandefur) Higgins, all of Tecumseh, OK, Willa Detrick of Guthrie, OK, Joyce (Sandefur) Boggs of Seminole, OK, Linda Gary of Tulsa, OK, Sally Heath of Holdenville, OK; and other extended family and friends. 

The family would like to thank Heritage Nursing Home and Angelica Hospice for their loving care. 

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 23, 2021 at Cooper Funeral Home.  Graveside Service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Tecumseh Cemetery with Pastor Noah Willoughby, Evangelistic Center Church and Dwight Wise officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
