Betty Rawls Gober

Betty (McInturff) Rawls Gober, 90, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 in Shawnee.

She was born October 6, 1932 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Monroe and Pearl (Mann) McInturff.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Pearl McInturff; granddaughter, Melody Aldridge; daughter-in-law, Patti Rawls; and numerous sisters, brothers and other relatives.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Carolyn Rawls Aldridge (Jay) of Kinta, OK; son, Troy Rawls, Jr. (Connie) of Earlsboro, OK; sister, Pat Guffey of Pink, OK; brothers, Stephen McInturff of Texas, and Phillip McInturff of Shawnee, OK; granddaughter, Sara Hudson (Bubba) of Shawnee, OK; grandsons, Jayson Aldridge (Casey) of Shawnee, OK, Rook Rawls (Jill) of Earlsboro, OK, Patrick Rawls (Jamie) of Wewoka, OK, Jaycob Aldridge serving in the Army National Guard, Kenya, Africa; 8 great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jayson Aldridge, Rook Rawls, Patrick Rawls, Bubba Hudson, Carey Barron.             

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 17, 2023 with family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to greet friends and family at Cooper Funeral Home.  Graveside Service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 18, 2023 at Resthaven Memorial Park in Shawnee, OK with Tommy Wilson officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
