Barbara Ann Warner

Barbara Ann (Chmiel) Warner, age 88 of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025 at her home surrounded by family.

She was born May, 17, 1937 to Emily Chmiel in Buffalo, New York.

Barbara married Robert F. Warner, Sr on September 22, 1956 in Batavia, New York.

She moved to Oklahoma in 1977 with her husband and has been a Tecumseh resident since.  She  has been a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in McLoud for many years.  She has served in the Ladies Club and as a Eucharist Minister.  She loved taking care of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Barbara is preceded in death by; her husband, Robert F. Warner of 53 years; her grandson Randall A. Warner; and her dear friend, Betty J. Currier.     

She is survived by her sons;  Robert F. Warner Jr and wife Doris of Oklahoma City; John D. Warner and wife Denise of Tecumseh; Anthony “Tony” Warner and wife Kathy of Hennessey;  James “Jimmy” Warner and wife Alicia of Tecumseh; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends.  

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Cooper Funeral Home, Tecumseh.  Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in McLoud. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in McLoud with Father Carson Krittenbrink officiating.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
