Anna Hays

Anna Hays, 67, of Newalla, Oklahoma passed away, Friday, February 6, 2026 in Norman.

Anna was like the widow in the Bible that had two mites. A giving person who would share it all with you.  She loved her dogs passionately and enjoyed making new friends and joining in the activities these past few years at Medical Park West and loved to show off prizes she had won especially jewelry.  Her favorite sweet treat was Reece’s Peanut Buttercups, and she graciously shared them with staff and friends.  God sent a special roommate for Anna, April Stone.  A kind Christian woman who looked after Anna like she was family and helped Anna to feel loved and accepted. 

A special thanks is due to the staff and residents at Medical Park West, Norman, OK for the care and attention you gave Anna.

Annie began as an amazon of a woman tough and hard working and fought hard to survive but could not overcome illness that overtook her body, So Jesus said, “Come and rest.”

 And finally, Annie Thank you for allowing me, Joy Nix, to be your friend.

Private services will be held under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
