Angela Marie Farris

Angela Marie Farris, age 49, of Bethel Acres, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at her home.

Angela was born May 31, 1974 in Midwest City, Oklahoma to Gerald Von and Rebecca Sue (Hartman) Lane.

She was a preacher’s kid and was raised all over the state of Oklahoma.  She graduated from Merritt High School in Elk City in 1992.

Angela married Wade Farris on September 18, 1993, in Bethel Acres. 

She worked for Bethel Public Schools as a teacher assistant, where she was loved by all the students. 

Angela enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, singing around the house, and going on adventures.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Rebecca Lane; grandparents, her father-in-law, Larry Farris; and her brother-in-law, Tyler Lee Farris.

Angela is survived by her husband, Wade Farris of the home; three daughters, Kira Faith, Kimber Hope, and Kinley Love Farris; five grandchildren, Kyler Ray, Kyson Wade, Kightley Marie, Bennett Shane, and Brooks Lane; and three sisters, Rana Lane, Lisa Amukaya, and Sheila Darst; in-laws, Marvin and Gayle Riley; and numerous other family and friends. 

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Cooper Funeral Home and continue through service time. Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday November 17, 2023 at New Hope Baptist Church with Pastor Shawn Crawley officiating. Burial will follow at Blackburn Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
