Angela Gail Conaway

Angela Gail Conaway, age 43, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Angela was born November 1, 1979 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to Richard and Winona (Lane) Tibbs.

She was raised in the Bethel Acres/Shawnee areas and attended Bethel Public Schools.

Angela worked for many years for different loan companies in the Shawnee area, most recently for Advance America.  She also worked as a manager for Subway, Wendy's, and Mrs. Fields Cookies in Shawnee Mall.

She enjoyed camping and going to the lake.  She loved people and mainly loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by three children, Zack Cox (Montana) of Tecumseh, Levi Cox (Jasmine) of Oklahoma City, and Ericka Ladish (Zach) of Guthrie, OK; four grandchildren, Kendell Cox, Lakota Cox, Jack Ladish, and Gabriel Ladish; her mother, Nona Thompson of Shawnee; two brothers, Richard Tibbs (Lisa) of Ada and Billy Tibbs (Mitchell) of Edmond; her fiance, Troy Alexander of Shawnee, OK; and numerous extended family and friends. 

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 11, 2023 and continue through service time. Family gathering to receive friends and family will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Cooper Funeral Home.  Service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Shawnee, OK under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
