Aloma Joy Waldon, age 56, of Ponca City, Oklahoma was born on May 31, 1968 to Muriel Lefthand and Russell Waldon in Oakland, CA. She went home on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Evelyn Haney; mother, Muriel Wakolee; brother, Tishomingo Waldon; and niece Muriel (Babygirl) Waldon.
She is survived by her fathers, Russell Waldon and David Wakolee; brothers, Chuffee Waldon Sr., and Ben Scraper; and sister, Hannah Wakolee; and tons of nieces and nephews.
Aloma was born in Oakland in 1968. Undeterred by her physical limitations, Aloma began school like every other little girl. In 1987, Aloma graduated from Putnam City North High School.
Aloma had a great love for music and was able to attend many concerts of her musical heroes. And of course, Aloma was an avid OU football and softball fan. Aloma loved watching anything with Charlie Sheen & Emilio Estevez.
Wake Service will be 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 21, 2025 at Hitchitee United Methodist Church, 11450 N. 361 Rd., Seminole, OK 74868. Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Hitchitee United Methodist Church with Reverend Robert Ankney officiating. Burial will follow at Hitichitee Church Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
