Alecia Lucinda Buffington

Alecia Lucinda Buffington, 26, of Forest Park, Oklahoma passed from this life Saturday, June 19, 2021 in Oklahoma City. 

She was born December 10, 1994 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. 

Alecia was raised in Shawnee and graduated with the class of 2013 from Shawnee High School.  She went on to pursue her Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Oklahoma.  She graduated with honors in May 2020.   

She married Koltin Buffington on March 12, 2017 in Norman, Oklahoma. 

Alecia was an architect at FSB Architectural Design. 

She was a proud member of Absentee Shawnee Tribe.  Alecia was a huge gamer and Twitch streamer.  She enjoyed traveling and road trips, especially her girl trips.  Alecia loved life and lived it to its fullest. She will forever and dearly be missed by all those who knew and loved her. 

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lucinda Neash. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Koltin Buffington; parents, Susie Neash and Louis LaPlante of Meeker, OK; 2 brothers, Diondre Neash and Cameron LaPlante; her fur babies, Sophie, Nugget, and Zelda; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other extended family and friends. 

Wake Service will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Shawnee with Pastor Kevin Fox, Karis Ministries, Pastor Woody Wilson and Pastor Rendon Falls officiating.   Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
