Veronica Meinders, 49, of Woodward, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019 in Oklahoma City.
She was born July 16, 1970 to Alfred and Darlene (Jackson) Stephen in Flint, Michigan.
Veronica grew up in Tecumseh and attended Tecumseh Public Schools. She graduate with the class of 1988 from Tecumseh High School. Veronica graduated from Seminole Sate College with an Associate’s degree and earned her Masters from Oklahoma University. She lived in Mustang, Oklahoma until recently moving to Woodard.
She proudly served her country in the U.S. Army and obtained the Rank of Captain before she was honorably discharged.
Veronica worked as a Nurse Practitioner at the V.A. Hospital.
She was a member of LifeChurch-Woodward Campus. She enjoyed life, loved to travel, was a kind hearted person, and loved her grandson and daughter very much.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Mike Meinders; 1 daughter, Macy Moody; 1 son, Shea Marsh; 1 grandson, Carson Marsh; 2 step-sons, Ben and Wes Meinders; her parents, Alfred and Darlene Stephen; 1 sister, Monica Baden; 1 brother, Gene Stephen; and numerous extended family and friends.
No Formal Services will be held. A Private Family burial will be held at a later date at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
