Roberta Fay Miles

Roberta Fay Miles, age 83, of Wewoka, OK passed away Saturday October 26, 2019 in Holdenville, OK. 

She was born August 11, 1936 in Concho, OK to Harold Isaac and Josephine (Sockey) Miles. 

Roberta was raised in Shawnee and graduated from Shawnee High School with the Class of 1954. She attended Seminole State College also. Roberta joined the United States Marines and proudly served her country from 1954 to 1957. 

After the military she moved around several places before settling in the Shawnee area. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and niece Marion Denise Bettis.             

Roberta is survived by her sister, Marion Miles; 2 nieces, Robin Garrison and Melissa Cox; nephew, Robert Chisholm; and many other family and friends. 

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 31, 2019 and continue through service time. Service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 1, 2019 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
