Patsy Luree (Edwards) Pritchard

Patsy Luree (Edwards) Pritchard, 85, of Shawnee, passed away Monday, August 26, 2019 in Shawnee.

She was born March 20, 1934 in Shawnee, to Sterling Edwards and Dovie (Click) Edwards.

Patsy was a lifelong Shawnee resident. She married Johnny Vinson Pritchard on January 20, 1951 in Shawnee, OK.  She graduated from Shawnee High School and afterwards, she received her degree of cosmetology from Shawnee Beauty College.  

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Johnny Pritchard of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Keith Ward of Shawnee; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Pam Pritchard of Tecumseh; granddaughters, Jessica Mitchell of Tecumseh, Brittyn Combs and husband Mark of Mustang; grandson, Johnny Pritchard of Shawnee; great-grandchildren, Brody and Olivia Wolfe of Tecumseh, Jarron and Tyson Combs of Mustang; sisters, Shirley Claborn of Shawnee and Joy Heiman of Edmond; and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 28, 2019.  Casket will remain closed.  Service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Taproot Church, 22 E. Dunloup, Shawnee, OK with Pastor Keith Ward, Taproot Church officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Shawnee under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
