LaDonna J Epperson

LaDonna J. Epperson, 70, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019 in Oklahoma City.

She was born November 5, 1948 to La Vern Leo and Eula (Day) Greenlee in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

LaDonna was raised in Tecumseh and graduated with the class of 1966 from Tecumseh High School.  She lived in the Shawnee Lake area until her retirement, then moved to Lake Texoma and recently moved back to the Shawnee Lake area.

LaDonna retired from Tinker Air Force Base after more than 30 years of service.

She loved quilting, gardening, stained glass and her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Lee May; husband, Joe Epperson; her parents, La Vern and Eula Greenlee; and granddaughter, Macie Jo Matthews.

Survivors include 1 daughter and son-in-law, Lara and Justin Matthews of Shawnee, OK; 1 son and daughter-in-law, Theodore and Lisa May of McLoud, OK; 4 grandchildren, Sabra and Matt Palomares, Ashley May, Theodore May Jr. and Eli Matthews; 1 sister, Corlyss Bailey of Tecumseh, OK; 2 brothers and 1 sister-in-law, Bobby and Yong-Tammy Greenlee and Jimmy and Debbie Greenlee; and other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 13, 2019 with family gathering from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home.  Service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clint Dawkins, Sharon Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
