Diana Kay (Hubbard) Plumley, 62, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019 at her home.
She was born May 28, 1957 to Donald Lee and and Shelby (McLaughlen) Hubbard in Peoria, Illinois.
Diana was raised in Illinois and graduated in 1975 from Beardstown High School.
She married Earl Big Soldier Plumley, Jr. on November 26, 1994 in Oklahoma City. He preceded her in death on November 26, 2017.
Diana worked as an Administrative Assistant up until retirement and became a full time seamstress, homemaker and devoted mom and Ammie.
She was a well-known designer and maker of Native American Regalia. She sewed for many of the greats and developed many friendship with the people she sewed for. Her grandchildren were the focal point of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Plumley, Jr.; her parents, Donald and Shelby Hubbard; and adopted parents, Orvil and Margarie Kirk.
Those left to cherish her memory are 2 daughters, Valerie Schroll and husband Austin Roberts of St. Louis, MO and Erin Plumley and fiancée, Joshua of Lumberbridge, NC; son, Michael and wife Courtney Plumley of Tecumseh, OK; adopted kids, Jennifer Moses and family, Ada Pigeon & family, Shema Lincoln and family and Mark Bolin of Tulsa, OK; stepchildren, Grant and Heather Cotanny of Tecumseh, OK, Jim George and family, Geoff George and family, and Earl Plumley III and family; 31 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 28, 2019 with family gathering from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home, under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
