David Kieffer, 54, of Oklahoma City passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019.
He was born July 4, 1965 to Joe and Elaine (Watson) Kieffer in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
David was raised in Shawnee and Wanette. He was Valedictorian of the graduating class of 1983 from Wanette High School.
He worked in warehouses throughout Oklahoma City and Shawnee and was currently employed in the warehouse at Firelake Grand Casino in Shawnee.
David was a passionate Beatles fan and was an avid gun collector. He loved animals and always had a soft spot for animals, especially his cats. David excelled in whatever he put his heart into. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Kate Kieffer and R.D. Watson.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Joe and Elaine (Watson) Kieffer of Wanette, OK; grandma, Alma (Mauldin) Watson of Shawnee, OK; brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Tesia Kieffer of Granbury, TX; 2 nephews, Nikolaus Kieffer and Aleksandar Kieffer; 1 niece, Isabella Kieffer; and many loving friends and extended family.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, July 14, 2019 and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday, July 15, 2019 at Cooper Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 15, 2019 at Tecumseh Cemetery with Reverend Clint Dawkins, Sharon Baptist Church officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
